I HAVE THREE:
2 Old School: Rookie BOBBY BONDS hitting a GrandSlam in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Dodgers & seat cushions from the lux-boxes rainned down on the field. 9 or 10 years old.
1972 or 1973 BatDay against the Houston Astros The Giants were up by 8 or 9 in the 5th inning, my soon to be stepmom was bitching because it was around 100 degree's and she wanted to leave. We left and before we were out of the parking lot and going down 101 south, The Astro's had a 10 run inning behind Lee May's two homeruns in one inning.
Recent Fav: Will Clark's first Major League at bat!!

It will be one of the saddest day's of my life when they play the last Giants game at the Stick. I've seen every construction phase from the cyclone outfield fence to the partially inclosed to the fully inclosed stadium. New scoreboards, A great old bleachers section, a new great bleachers section, etc. 4 decades of great memories in this house, I can only hope we go out a winner there and start a new tradition at PacBell...

I have a few other interests outside of baseball but not many. *she smiles*

Favorite all time player:Nolan Ryan
Favorite Giant/Baseball memories:
This is a tough one... I won't mention Mike Scott's no-hitter against The Giants on September 25th 1986. *she smiles* I grew up watching the game. When I was 4 my father sat me down at a baseball game and told me that I wasn't going to run around the ballpark like all of the other kids. He put a scorecard in one hand and a pencil in the other and I've taken score at every ballgame since. I wouldn't have had it any other way.
GVL signing date:June, 1997

Started following the Giants in '87...I was in Arizona for Spring Training, went to a few Giants games and I've followed them ever since. 1997 will be a year that will be remembered for a long time. 1997 NL Western Division Champions: The San Francisco Giants. 1997 NL Central Divison Champions: The Houston Astros. What more could a girl ask for? Haven't missed an Astros home game in 5years. Please don't ask me who I root for when The Astros play The Giants. It's tough to have "split-loyalties" *she smiles*

Being at the stick when the Giants won the 1997 division title. Back in 1973, some of the Giants gave a clinic for kids in Redwood City. My most memorable thing about it, was asking Dave Rad r what happens if you're a left handed catcher. And his reply was,"Sometimes they have their advantages." I was playing for a softball team that year who's colors were also orange and black. After the Giants did the clinic. All of us kids were given free tickets to attend a Giants game against the Atlanta Braves.

1971 Home-opener. My grandfather explains to me how to properly hate the Dodgers. There's two kinds of Giants fans, the regular fans that root for the Giants, and the real Giant Fans root for two teams, the Giants and whoever is playing the Dodgers.
