Cybergate '98 Updated September 1, 1998

Hope everyone had a great time at Cybergate '98. I know I did! If you haven't already please remember to send some pics to the GVL Homepage so I can put together a Cybergate '98 page. Also don't forget to add your favorite memories to the Giants Forum.

To my fellow GVL chatters:

As you may be aware, there have been some changes to Room 18. Many of the 'regulars' from last year have not returned. I am sending this e-mail to tell you, you are missed, very much. {Of course if you are using a new login name, for heaven's sake - let us know!} Most of the changes were requested by us over the course of last season. And as the old saying goes: Be careful what you wish for, you may get it.

If you have been discouraged by the password protection, I would like to help. Follow this link: Giants Chat If you have previously set up an account and cannot remember your password, you can e-mail the webmaster and get the password. Once a screen name has been chosen, it is yours. Noone else can use it. Once you are logged into the chatroom, you can go to the configure link and change the password to one of your own choosing. At the same time, check to see what interface you are set to - classic seems to work better than standard.

I also want to let you know, if you are not already aware, that a webpage has been set up for us lounge lizards by some of the regulars (no I am not one of them). Check it out, I think you will like what you see: GVL Homepage
Don't let a little thing like a password keep you from enjoying another great Giants season. Come back to the newly renovated Room 18 and express yourself!
